This morning we learnt how to do time tables by using hundreds,tens and ones. My nan is a teacher she was helping me with my times table. She help me with all my answers and I found out how to do it. What I need to work on not getting help so I could try and find it out myself. If I get help all the time. When I go to college I won’t get help from the teachers at all. And the second thing I need to work on is writing it out properly in my book all then when my teacher would ether tell me to do it again.

Matariki

At matariki we celebrated by having a big hangi. The whole school got one. NRP and NRRT did the kumara,riwai. And the boys in NRRT did the hangi hole. They had to get up at 5:00 to get the hangi ready. But when the hangi got ready everyone was excited to have one. I got excited to and I going crazy for the hangi. I could feel the vibes. My next is to do more riwai. I’ve learned how to do riwai a lot faster. If I did a riwai a lot faster it would make my job a lot easier. Josh did a interview about how we celebrate matariki. The end

persuasive

Today I’ve been learning how to do persuasive writing. We did a argument about should we have animals as a pet. Whakaae was agree and whakaahe was disagree . I was whakaae. Disagree won the argument. I thought that having a pet is all right but there is a lot of ideas to not have a pet. And we
did a OREO writing. the top cookie was opinion. The middle was reasons and example. The Botton cookie is  another opinion. My next step is to use structure and language.the skill that I’m learning is to do persuasive,OREO writing. The hard part was to that we didn’t back up our topic.

What I have been learning

I have been learning how to do a narrative writing.what narrative I been learning is to add imagery using adjectives and detail,punctuation. My writing is coming to life. I find narrative writing hard because making your story’s come to life is not easy. It was challenging for me because when I don’t make my story’s come to life I get help by my teacher. And then I get the hang it.

In the morning I was dog

One froggy morning I was a Great Dane. A good dog. A dog that goes for long walks but one frosty day I wasn’t allowed to go for walks I had nothing warm to wear so I
had to stay home all by myself.

I was hungry so hungry I could eat everything but I can’t reach the cupboard I wait and wait I find away to get delicious dog roll there’s food outside I said. I approve to open the door Tick! Boom! I open the front door.

I quickly run outside and snatch the delicious dog roll I start to eat and eat like a angry shark.
